Chenille Examples
Chenille (French for "loop) is an embroidery technique which produces a looped finish very similar to that of a looped-pile carpet.
A chenille patch is composed of three components - from top to bottom: 1) the the chenille embroidery, 2) a piece of scrim-felt through which the chenille has been embroidered, and 3) a scrim-felt base or foundation on which the finished chenille is mounted. With some imagination you can produce a colorful chenille patch which matches your jacket trim.
Graduation Year Chenilles can be 2-digit or 4-digit, and are custom made to match jacket trim or contrast with sleeve color.
